My name is Peter Causton, and I've earned a solid reputation as an experienced Barrister who effectively advances the interests of every client. I am also an award winning mediator.  I hold practising certificates as a solicitor and barrister and so am the embodiment of a fused professional!;  The first in the UK.  I am committed to the success of every case I take on. Former Joint venture with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce – set up Dispute Management Service ™.

Set up and Director of ADR Provider, ProMediate (UK) Limited certified by CTSI, OfCom and Gambling Commission to deal with consumer disputes throughout the EU, including through the Online Dispute Resolution EU Platform. 

Named as ADR Provider by Whirlpool, Global Travel, Clarks, Auxillis and numerous law firms and barristers’ chambers.

Conducted telephone, online and time limited mediations.

Former Chief Assessor of the Law Society’s Civil and Commercial Mediation Accreditation Scheme.

Former Board Member and director of the Civil Mediation Council Limited 2013-2017

Outside Interests

I enjoy taking part in half marathons, to include most recently the Great North Run, the Hell Run and Race the Train. Having completed 250 park runs my running has been curtailed by the coronavirus pandemic
