Compulsory adr for consumer disputes?

The Government has indicated that it intends to examine radical new ways to mainstream ADR for all types of disputes including consumer disputes, so it is no longer viewed as an “alternative” to court but operates as an integrated part of the justice system. Peter Causton Law Society Civil Litigation Council member looks at the proposals.
